On April 27-28, 2017, the Municipal Commission of Economy and Information Technology organized an expert group to conduct research on the implementation status of intelligent manufacturing in three enterprises in our industry, namely Chaoda Valve Group, Zhejiang Petrochemical Valve, and Jialite Ebara Pump Industry. More than ten people participated in the event, including leaders from the Municipal Commission of Economy and Information Technology, representatives from Huazhong Academy of Science and Technology, leaders and experts from Beijing Languang Company, dean of Wenzhou Pump and Valve Institute, experts from Wenzhou Yameixin Company, and professors from Wenzhou University. Through in-depth research, the aim is to understand the foundation and conditions of production equipment, processing technology, enterprise management, integration of industrialization and informatization, and production organization methods in the Wenzhou pump and valve industry. Experts from various fields will observe and analyze the implementation of intelligent manufacturing models and possibilities on site. Following the idea of starting with the easy and then the difficult, and starting with the individual and then the whole, a phased implementation solution will be proposed.

Through a two-day research activity, experts focused on the different situations of these enterprises, their different understandings of intelligent manufacturing, listened to the demands of entrepreneurs, and interacted frequently and actively. Experts have affirmed that in the overall economic downturn, enterprises should remain confident, be willing to invest, make up for their shortcomings, hone their internal strength, and embrace the spring of real economy recovery.

Various enterprises actively cooperated with the research, especially Zhejiang Petrochemical Valve, which answered the survey questionnaire on intelligent manufacturing in Wenzhou city seriously and satisfactorily.

It can be foreseen that this research activity will definitely promote the intelligent manufacturing of Wenzhou pump and valve industry to a new level.
